"Mimic" (2024)

A mixed media sculpture of a mimic chest constructed from found materials, silicone, foam, and polymer clay. Created for the Winter Wonderland exhibition at the Lloyd Center, the piece blends familiar fantasy imagery with tactile, handcrafted construction. The work plays with the idea of hidden threat within the ordinary, using material contrast and surface detail to suggest both allure and unease.
