“Self Portrait” (2019)

A silicone and urethane cast self-portrait developed from an original non-sulfur plastiline sculpture. The piece incorporates handmade eyes, individually punched human hair, and layered resin elements used to simulate water and moisture across the surface. Completed over the course of three months, the work explores realism and the physical presence of the human figure. The finished sculpture was acquired for the private collection of Northern Kentucky University.
